542. Echo and the Bunnymen - Ocean Rain

An album cover showing four men in a rowing boat inside a blue lit sea cave. Two men are stood side-by-side at the back of the boat each holding an oar, the third man is sat in the centre of the boat and the fourth is leaning over the front of the boat with his hand in the water. The band's name is in the top-left of the cover and the album's name is in the top-right, both in white text.

Release Date: 1984
Label: Korova

A great album that is perhaps not as immediate as their debut.

525. Echo and the Bunnymen - Porcupine

An album cover showing four men stood on a rocky outcrop with a frozen waterfall to their left. The band's and the album's names are in the top-left corner of the cover in green text.

Release Date: 1983
Label: Korova

Echo and his Bunnymen entertain us with their third album here, or at least that's the aim. I enjoyed the first offering, but this one wasn't so impressive.

462. Echo and the Bunnymen - Crocodiles

An album cover showing four men amongst some trees at night. In the top left-hand corner of the cover is the band's name and the album's name is in the top-right corner, both are in yellow text.

Release Date: 1980
Label: Korova

Echo and the Bunnymen were arguably the first important band to come out of Liverpool after the Beatles disbanded in 1970.  This is arguably as dark as the Cure's album, but it is more accesible and melodic.
