Previous albums from Tim Buckley have left me underwhelmed and I was expecting more of the same from this one - meanding tune and lyrics, hippie vibes etc. It seems, however, that Tim has reinvented himself as a funky troubadour (which isn't as bad as it sounds). To say this was unexpected was an understatement! Of course, the book does miss out a few of his albums released between 'Happy Sad' and this so the evolution may have been gradual. Overall this was probably the best TB album so far, but it still doesn't mean I want to hear it again.
Rating: 7/10
Favourite Song: Sweet Surrender.
