Let's get the negatives out of the way. This album has Rod Stewart, lots of Rod.There is nothing particularly innovative or original about the music, and the lyrics are very blokey. The cover and title are embarrassingly poor too. Having said that, after reading a couple of reviews that dismissed the album, I was pleasantly surprised. I prefer it to Rod's solo efforts, if just for the fact that Ronnie Lane sings lead vocals on a few of the tracks.
