512. The Associates - Sulk

Sulk album cover.jpg

Release Date: 1982
Label: Beggars Banquet

I know of Billy McKenzie because of The Smiths' 'William, It Was Really Nothing'. On reading the blurb about this album, I expected his vocals to be similar to Jimmy Sommerville (which is no bad thing) and in a way they were. Overall, the album was just a little too non-descript to warrant any further investigation.

Rating: 6/10
